ORDERING


Check our size guide here for help selecting the best size for your children. 

Our styles are true to size but feature a generous fit to make them super comfy and more durable (they look equally awesome when worn loose or fit as your children grow). 

And if your kids are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up!


All online orders are beautifully packed with our adorable eco-friendly silk paper and stickers that make unwrapping so fun!

Should you want to add a handwritten note for your special someone, please send us an email within 2 hours of placing your order with email title “GIFT WRAPPING / ORDER # … (add your order number)” at the following address:

Let us know what note you would like us to add, and we promise we will make it memorable!


Orders placed before 1pm from Monday through Thursday will be processed the same day; and will be processed the following day if placed after 1pm. 

Orders placed after 1pm Friday as well as on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

Orders placed on a holiday will be processed the following business day.

Please note that those processing times are subject to receiving your full payment.


Yes, as soon as we start processing and packing your order we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your receipt, shipping details and a link to track your parcel online. 


Once your order is confirmed, we are unfortunately unable to make any changes, including on the delivery address and the delivery option so carefully review all information before placing your order.

Petit Nomade is happy to offer domestic and international delivery and you can choose your preferred shipping method at checkout. 

Free shipping is available for orders over $100 within the domestic USA and over $250 for international orders. Visit our shipping page here for more details.

Please note that international shipping does not include country-specific custom duties or taxes, which you may have to pay upon delivery. 


We offer free shipping on US domestic orders for purchases over $100 and on international orders for purchases over $250.

Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O. Box address, and orders with delivery to P.O. Box addresses will automatically be cancelled.


We put a lot of care and love in the making and delivery of our products, and thrive to ensure you will love them at first sight!

In case of a problem with your order, please contact us via email within 48 hours of reception of the goods at: hello@shoppetitnomade.com and include your order number, description of the issue and a picture so we can find a solution as soon as possible (refund/exchange).


Should you have questions about the whereabouts of your package, always check with the shipping carrier and track using the tracking number. Once the order has changed hands to carriers, we have no control of the package. We will do our best to help call our shipping carrier if you'd like our help locating it, so feel free to reach out for assistance. We find that "lost" packages usually turn up within 48 hours, so we ask you to wait for 48 hours before taking action.


If your package is returned to us by the courier because of trouble delivering to the address given on your order, we will issue you a refund for the products minus the shipping fees within 7 working days. 

Petit Nomade reserves the right to retain any costs incurred in arranging for the delivery and return of the Product to us.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES


Changed your mind? No problem!

Petit Nomade happily accepts returns of new non-sale merchandise within 15 days of your order being received. Items must be unworn, unwashed and with all original tags and packaging to qualify for return.

To process a return, send us an email with the item you'd like to return and order number to: hello@shoppetitnomade.com Pack your products well, include the printed invoice or receipt and ship your return to:

Once received, your refund (minus shipping fees) will be issued back to the original form of payment. 

Return shipping charges are at the customer’s expense. Petit Nomade is not responsible for returned merchandise that doesn’t reach our office, so we strongly encourage using a carrier with tracking and insurance.


Size exchanges are accepted within 15 days of delivery for new non-sale merchandise that is unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with all original tags and packaging. 

To start the exchange email us at hello@shoppetitnomade.com with your order number, the item you’d like to exchange and the size you would like to exchange for, and we will take it from there.

Please note that exchanges are subject to stock availability and cannot be guaranteed (but we will always do our best to accommodate!).

Due to the artisanal nature of our products, small imperfections or slight color variations can occur. We thrive to offer you the most beautiful handmade creations there are and spend a lot of time controlling the quality of each of our products.

If you receive your order and feel there is a quality issue or that it is defective, send us an email within 14 days of purchase at hello@shoppetitnomade.com to discuss available options. Don’t forget to send a picture of the item and defect in question – this will help us solve your problem as efficiently as possible!

PRODUCT CARE & USE


Our baskets and bags are made from dried palm leaves and raffia, all of which are naturally grown and harvested in Morocco and have been favored for centuries for their exceptional durability.

If your bag/basket becomes dirty, just dust it off with a soft clean brush.

In case your bag gets really dirty, you can clean it off with a damp cloth then wipe with a dry cloth and let it air dry. We recommend letting it naturally dry under the sun, but never in in front of a fireplace or radiator.


Our clothing line is exclusively made from Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified double cotton gauze.

Easy to care for, we encourage you to follow the care instructions on the product label which will ensure that your Petit Nomade items last and will follow your little ones in all their happy adventures!

Double cotton gauze is a soft, airy fabric made from two layers of cotton gauze fused together. It features a loose, open weave for a lightweight and super comfortable finish that is a dream to wear in hot summer days.

With its natural crinkle look, it is easy, low maintenance and gets more beautiful wash after wash!

Our cotton is grown responsibly and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified to ensure it is free from harmful substances and gentle on fragile skins.

SUSTAINABILITY


Petit Nomade was born to highlight and honor the timeless beauty of Morocco and its unique craftmanship.

We exclusively partner with independent artisans in Marrakech to bring the Petit Nomade spirit alive.

Our bags and baskets are handmade by a collective of artisans in the Marrakech region, all of which work from their home at their own pace and fix their prices.

Our clothes are manufactured in small batches by a family-owned workshop established over 30 years ago and employing 20 seamstresses and embroiderers (most of whom have been working there from the beginning).


At Petit Nomade, we are committed to sourcing the highest quality materials that have less impact on the environment.

Our bags and baskets are made from locally-grown recycled raffia and palm fibers and embroidered with locally-harvested wool that is dyed with natural pigments.

Our clothes are exclusively made from double gauze cotton, grown responsibly and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified to ensure it is free from harmful substances and gentle on fragile skins. It is a good start, but not enough for us and we aim to also be 100% organic (GOTS) certified by the end of 2021.

We also up-cycle all our fabric leftovers to turn them into the cutest matching accessories, because we love seeing those cute colors on your minis and not in landfills!


Petit Nomade is proud to be part of the Eco-Packaging Alliance.

All our packaging is made from plant-based materials:
- our cards and tags are made from 100% recycled and compostable paper
- our mailers are made from corn-based biopolymers and is 100% compostable
- our silk paper, packaging tape and stickers are 100% recycled FSC certified and printed with soy-based inks

You can have peace of mind that your Petit Nomade order will leave no trace behind, just great memories!
